Vaccine Fridge supplies a Spark Proof Freezer which provides a chamber for safe storage of volatile material. The interior of the chambers are spark free and can be controlled within the temperature range of -10°C to -25°C (-20°C on upright models). For hazardous areas zoning, Zone 2 classification requires a fridge or freezer to be located 300mm above floor level. (AS/NZ60079.10:2004.) A stand is available for the spark proof chamber to raise the units 300mm to meet these requirements.
NOTE:Only the interior of the chamber is spark proof. (These chambers are not manufactured to meet the Australian Standard for Intrinsically Safe Chambers, if you require this please contact us for specifications for a different chamber).
